At Beaded Necklaces, we have been seduced by DIY. Combining Large-Hole “European Style” Beads, Betsey Johnson Pendants, and our favorite chains produce custom necklaces that are a joy to wear.
Typically thirty (30) beads are enough for both a necklace and bracelet but we have seen beautiful creations with less or more.

3mm Snake Chains for European Beads
This snake chain is brass with silver plating. It is strong, does not kink up, and is very fluid. Also, our lobster clasp is easy-to-use. The 3mm chain is just right for European Beads and comes in a variety of sizes:
- For necklaces, it comes in 18, 20, 22, and 24-inch lengths.
- For bracelets, it comes in 7, 7.5, 8, and 8.5-inch lengths.
Silver-plated items are not for everyday wear. The silver plating will wear off eventually, revealing the brass underneath, or discoloration or tarnishing occurs. For longer use care should be taken to keep the chain away from water.
